Privacy Policy
Tracki GPS Tracker Guide is an offline reference app. It does not require an account, does not collect the content you enter, and does not know who you are — and it does not track your location. This page explains the little data that does move — mostly generated by the advertising that keeps the app free.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the "Tracki GPS Tracker Guide" Android app ("the app"), developed as an independent, unofficial companion guide for the Tracki Mini GPS Tracker. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Tracki. This app is a reference guide only — it does not connect to, control, or receive location data from your Tracki device. Location tracking of the device itself happens exclusively in Tracki's own official app and account system.
Information we do not collect
The app does not ask you to sign in, and does not collect or store:
- Your name, email address, or phone number
- Your location, or the location of any tracker device
- Photos, videos, or files from your device
- Any content you type into the app (there is nothing to type — it's a reference guide)
Information collected automatically
The app shows ads through Google AdMob to stay free. To serve and measure those ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects limited technical data from your device, including:

Your ad choices
You can limit ad personalization at any time:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
- Reset your advertising ID from the same menu at any time
Permissions the app requests
The app requests internet access only, which is needed to load ads. It does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or any other device permission. Activating and locating your actual Tracki device happens in Tracki's own official app, governed by Tracki's own privacy policy — not this one.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we will address it.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. The only third party involved is Google (AdMob), acting as an advertising service provider, as described above.
Data retention
Since we don't operate our own servers or accounts, we don't retain any personal data ourselves. Data retention for advertising identifiers is governed by Google's own policies, linked above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
